Wine Glass Design Class (New Date TBA)
This fun and exciting adults-only class will focus on developing unique and
creative designs by artists of all levels that will be applied to your very own
wine glasses using specialty paint pens.
Bring your glass(es) to paint & beverage of choice.
Snacks & art materials provided. Instructor: Thara Lingefelt.

Shane Prine:
A VSU graduate -- currently teaches design and photography courses at
Dixie State College of Utah in Saint George.
We can expect to see all 2-D mixed media pieces.

Armando Chacón:
Welcome to the world of Armando Chacón, a local South Florida Artist who
was born and raised in Guatemala City, Guatemala. He is a young surrealist
artist who was greatly influenced by various masters of the Surreal
movement, in particular Salvador Dali. His oil paintings combine surreal
landscapes and uniquely created symbols he terms the “Soul” and the
“Spirit.”

The Figure as Vehicle:
In the Boyette Gallery, we’ll feature 2-D and 3-D art by John Carollo, Marsha
De Broske & Daryl Golden, all from Florida. Their figures, in watercolor
paintings and bronze & mixed media sculptures, move beyond form to
become vehicles for conveying messages to the viewer.

Summer Art Camps Exhibit:
Viewers will see some remarkable pottery created by children in classes
taught by Walter Hobbs and Angela Marafino. And we’ll have artwork from
the Wildlife Art & Comic Book Illustration classes as well.
South GA Regional Library Summer Art Camp work will be displayed in the
Tillman Gallery.
